Battle Missions are for targeting another player using brute force, attacking the target with soldiers and weapons. The main goal of the mission is to steal gold, with item damages and army casualties as a by-product of the conflict for both parties. Although item damages and army casualties can also be the goal.
Strike Action and Defense Action are military stats used in Battle Missions.
When you attack another player, you use your Strike Action and the target uses their Defense Action. The party with the higher strength wins.
Defending: [enemy_strike_action] vs [your_defense_action]
During missions, both party's military strengths defer from the actual stats strength, this is to cause some unpredictability.
Not every mission is going to have identical results and when both parties are similar in strength (considered some what "equal"), both players have a chance at winning, but obviously the stronger player has the upper hand.
The way this works is a random number is generated using the stat's actual strength (at 100%) and 91% of the stats strength.
The random number generated is between [91%_strength] and [100%_strength].
This means that even if your Strike Action is greater then a target's Defense Action, there is a slight possibility of losing if your stat is not 10% greater then the targets stat. This also works the opposite way, if your target's Defense Action is less then 10% greater then your Strike Action, then there is slight possibility you could win.
Regardless of the outcome both parties suffer unit casualties and item damages
Attack Missions are primarily for stealing gold from other players
